In 2026, we celebrate 180 years of the saxophone with the Artvark Saxophone Quartet, specially joined by Leo van Oostrom. Expect an adventurous concert where historical instruments, new compositions, and improvisation come together. Artvark moves freely across styles and eras, while Van Oostrom brings his unique collection and expertise to life. Four saxophones, one master collector, and a world of sound: a feast for curious ears and eyes.
Artvark and Leo van Oostrom combine innovation and historical knowledge in a unique encounter between modern grooves, new music, and 19th-century saxophones from Van Oostrom’s legendary collection.
